Let's design in a rainbow!



These bright colors are sure to take on a whole direction for each of us. They are your basics, and together they make up a bright combination of primary colors.

Where will your muse take you with these colors?

Maybe your muse only wants to play with one color. That's fine too. Make a monochromatic set of elements, papers, etc. in any of the colors provided on this swatch. If we get enough participants, we should see the whole rainbow come out.

Most of all, enjoy the creative process.

I know that as part of my design process, I am always looking for new tutorials to help me learn new tricks with my favorite toy, Photoshop. I challenge you to take a tutorial online this month. Just go to Google and type "Photoshop tutorials" or "PSP tutorials" and learn how to make something new. Then come here and post a link to the tutorial you used while creating your DAK entry.

Now remember the rules please...
1) Create your addition.
2) Post a preview in the DAK gallery here: http://www.myscrapshop.com/gallery/thumbnails-20.html
3) Share your 4shared (or other free file sharing site) link here in the forum or in your preview description in the gallery. Please do not tell them to go to another site or blog to get the link, we are trying to make it easier for everyone here to participate without having to go on a blog hunt.

Some helpful hints on sizing for new designers in the making:

• A standard paper is 12 inches by 12 inches square and 300 dpi, JPG file format.
• Most elements are PNGs and also 300 dpi.
